Environmental conservation and caring for the Earth are ongoing humanistic concerns for the agnès b. brand.

agnès b. designer Agnès Trouble and her son, Etienne Bourgois, the brand's Executive Director, are both deeply passionate about caring for the ocean, land, humanity, and nature. As practitioners of artistic philosophy and modern science, they launched the TARA expedition vessel in 2003, naming it TARA—a symbol of bravery and beauty. Over the past 20 years, TARA has been navigated by 700 scientists, 100 crew members, 50 artists, and 30 onboard journalists from around the world. Together, they have explored major oceans, actively sharing valuable research on climate change and marine environments. Through exploration and scientific research, they aim to contribute to the Earth and raise public awareness about the ocean.
